DMR Technologies signs a dealer agreement with Everglades Equipment Group, bringing the Field Ranger X50 spray drone to Florida sugarcane growers.

American-Built Agricultural Spray Drone Now Available Across Florida Through One of the State's Most Trusted John Deere Networks
HOUSTON, TX — July 2026 — DMR Technologies, the American manufacturer behind the Field Ranger X50 agricultural spray drone, has signed a dealer agreement with Everglades Equipment Group to bring the X50 to Florida's agricultural operators. For DMR, it's a deal that's been a long time coming — and Florida sugarcane growers are squarely in the crosshairs.
Florida produces more sugarcane than any other state in the country, with the bulk of it concentrated in the Glades region south of Lake Okeechobee. It's a demanding environment — wide open acreage, tight application windows, and yields that rise or fall on the precision of every input decision. Traditional aerial application methods have done the job for decades, but the margins for error are shrinking and growers know it. The X50 was built for exactly this kind of operation.
The platform carries a 50-liter tank, runs terrain-following radar, and executes autonomous spray patterns with precise GPS accuracy. In Louisiana — where DMR's first sugarcane customers have been flying the X50 for a full season — growers have reported a meaningful sugar recovery advantage over conventional airplane application. That's not a talking point. That's what's happening in the field.
"Florida sugarcane is one of the most important agricultural markets in the country, and Everglades is exactly who we wanted to partner with to reach those growers," said David Wang, CEO of DMR Technologies. "Farmers don't buy equipment from strangers — they buy from dealers they've trusted for years. Everglades has those relationships. We're proud to be part of what they're bringing to their customers."

DMR Technologies partners with Air Heca, the drone arm of Heca Global, to distribute the Field Ranger X50 agricultural spray drone across South America.

Everglades Equipment Group serves agricultural operators across Florida with equipment sales, parts, and service through an established John Deere network. Adding the Field Ranger X50 means their customers can walk in, see the platform, get trained, and pick up the phone to call a local dealer if they ever need support. No shipping equipment across the country. No chasing down a manufacturer. Just a dealer relationship that works the way farmers expect it to.
"Our customers are always looking for technology that actually moves the needle," said Kyle Norton, IS Support Manager for Everglades Equipment Group. "The X50 is a serious piece of equipment backed by a serious manufacturer, and we think Florida growers are going to take notice quickly."
The Everglades agreement follows DMR's existing dealer partnership with Sunshine Quality Solutions in Louisiana, giving the company formal distribution coverage across two of the Southeast's most important agricultural markets. The X50 is built at DMR's Lafayette, Louisiana facility and is fully NDAA-compliant — an increasingly important distinction as growers, co-ops, and institutional buyers take a harder look at where their technology comes from.
