American-Built Agricultural Spray Drone Now Available Across Florida Through One of the State's Most Trusted John Deere Networks
HOUSTON, TX — July 2026 — DMR Technologies, the American manufacturer behind the Field Ranger X50 agricultural spray drone, has signed a dealer agreement with Everglades Equipment Group to bring the X50 to Florida's agricultural operators. For DMR, it's a deal that's been a long time coming — and Florida sugarcane growers are squarely in the crosshairs.
Florida produces more sugarcane than any other state in the country, with the bulk of it concentrated in the Glades region south of Lake Okeechobee. It's a demanding environment — wide open acreage, tight application windows, and yields that rise or fall on the precision of every input decision. Traditional aerial application methods have done the job for decades, but the margins for error are shrinking and growers know it. The X50 was built for exactly this kind of operation.
The platform carries a 50-liter tank, runs terrain-following radar, and executes autonomous spray patterns with precise GPS accuracy. In Louisiana — where DMR's first sugarcane customers have been flying the X50 for a full season — growers have reported a meaningful sugar recovery advantage over conventional airplane application. That's not a talking point. That's what's happening in the field.
