We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixel tags) to operate the site, remember your preferences, secure your session, and — with your consent — to measure performance and personalize marketing. We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them).
We group cookies into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for core functionality such as authentication, security, and load balancing. These cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies — remember choices you have made, such as language or display preferences.
- Statistics cookies — collect aggregated, de-identified information about how the site is used so we can improve it. Loaded only with consent.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state laws.
7. Who we share your data with
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only as described below:
- With service providers who process information on our behalf under contract, including authentication, email and SMS delivery, content management, analytics, error tracking, hosting, customer support, and payment processing.
- With authorized dealers and distributors when needed to fulfill an order, ship a product, register a warranty, or provide service.
- With professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where reasonably necessary.
- With law enforcement, regulators, or other third parties when we believe disclosure is required to comply with applicable law or legal process, to protect our rights or those of others, or to prevent harm.
- In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
We require service providers to keep personal information confidential and to use it only for the purposes we authorize.
8. International data transfers
DMR is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (for example, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum) to protect personal information in cross-border transfers.
9. How long we keep your data
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing our services, complying with legal and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Specifically:
- Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support recovery and audit.
- Order, warranty, and support data is retained for the duration of the warranty period and for as long as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law.
- Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.
- Forum content may be retained for community integrity and moderation purposes; you can delete your own posts at any time, subject to platform limits.
- Backups and logs are retained for limited periods consistent with our security and disaster-recovery practices.
10. How we protect your data
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords, and regular review of our security practices. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to keep your account credentials confidential. If we ever experience a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you. The sections below summarize those rights for the most common jurisdictions; the rights themselves are governed by applicable law and are subject to verification and other legal requirements.
Texas residents
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas residents have the right to: (a) confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access it in a portable format; (b) correct inaccuracies; (c) delete personal data we have collected from or about you; and (d) opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. The TDPSA is enforced by the Texas Attorney General. For more information, see the Office of the Attorney General.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share; the right to delete and to correct personal information; the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for monetary value. To the extent any cookie-based advertising could be considered “sharing” under the CPRA, you can opt out using the “Cookie Preferences” link in our footer or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal.
Other U.S. state residents
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of certain processing activities. We honor these requests in accordance with applicable law.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland residents
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR and the UK GDPR to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
All consumers
We will not retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request, and we may decline a request to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of the rights described above, contact us at privacy@dmrdrones.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 45 days, with one extension of up to 45 additional days where reasonably necessary). If we deny your request, we will explain why and — where applicable — provide an internal appeals process. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of an appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General or the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
You can also use the “Cookie Preferences” link in our footer to manage your cookie consent at any time, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing message we send.
13. Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete the information in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
14. Universal opt-out signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sale of personal information and targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out for the browser and device that sent the signal.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, by email or by a notice on our site). Your continued use of our services after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it or from your use of our services are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, except where prohibited by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
